SUMMARY:Costa Rica  2027 Short-Term Mission Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a life-changing adventure!\n\nWHO: This trip is designed for anyone with a Christ-centered heart to serve. No prior experience or language skills required. Spanish speaking is always a bonus. Our team will work with our partner, Mission Point Ministry. We would also like to offer medical services to the communities we will be serving and specifically welcome medical professionals to apply for this trip.\nWHEN: June 22-29, 2027\nWHAT: Our focus is always to work through local churches and support their ministry needs.\nWHERE: Costa Rica. Guacimo and Zent areas. Our team will be housed in a dorm-like setting.\nWHY: To partner with the local church and support their mission to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.\nWHAT WILL WE DO: During this trip, we will serve in a variety of practical and ministry-focused ways. Team members will help church members by cleaning and maintaining their properties, painting homes, and assisting with projects they are unable to complete themselves. We will also visit local high schools to share personal testimonies, support evening Bible classes, and participate in medical clinics. Those without medical training will serve alongside the medical team in essential support roles. As our team comes together and local needs are identified, additional ministry opportunities may be added.\nCOST: Team members are expected to fundraise $2,600 for the trip. Guidance is provided for fundraising. This price covers all airfare, ground transportation, partial medical & emergency insurance, lodging and meals. A refundable deposit (up to a certain date) of $150 is required after the first team meeting. Funds raised go towards trip expenses. Any funds raised over the required amount go directly to Mission Point Ministry as a donation.\nThe application deadline is March 8, 2027. From now to when the trip leaves there will be 5-8 team meetings/trainings required.
