Slavery still exists…learn how IJM is making a difference

Today, more than 40 million people live in slavery. International Justice Mission (IJM) believes we can end slavery in our lifetime.

IJM’s work to end slavery includes efforts to locate victims, remove them from the place where they’re in danger, hold slave owners, traffickers, and criminals accountable in court, give survivors the support and tools they need to heal and to thrive, and stop violence before it starts by helping to strengthen the local justice system.

Through their efforts, IJM is helping to protect more than 21 million people from violence worldwide.
