LCAC Thanksgiving Food Drive
LCAC provides low income families and individuals with food and financial assistance.
Join us in providing a Thanksgiving meal to these families this year. Go Local will be distributing boxes with a food list on November 9th and 16th outside the main doors of Burke Community Church. Drop off of completed boxes will be November 23rd in the Burke Community Church North parking lot. Please note we will only be collecting boxes on the 23rd until 11AM. If you cannot make it by that time you will need to take the meal directly to LCAC. Meals are distributed that same day.
Help us provide a meal this holiday season to a family in need. Here is a list of items to include in meal box:
- 2 pound bag of rice
- 2 boxes of pasta
- 1 large container of pasta sauce (no jars)
- 1 bottle of oil
- 1 bag sugar (4-5 pounds)
- 2 boxes of cereal
- 1 box of kids snacks (8ct)
- 1 package of cookies
Place the following in a separate bag inside the box:
- 1 bag of apples
- 1 bag of potatoes
- 1 bag of onions
- Hand the following to BCC volunteer accepting the box:
- $25 grocery gift card from Food Lion or check made out to LCAC
