The Story of Scripture

Many people think that the Old Testament and the New Testament are miles apart, with two seemingly different God’s interfacing with the people—a wrathful Old Testament God and a loving New Testament God (Christ). Yet both halves of the Bible really tell the same story of God’s plan for the redemption of His choicest creation—humans. This course will examine all 66 books of the Bible to tell this story, weaving together the messages of the Old Testament with the fulfillment of God’s promise going into force in the New Testament. Learn God’s plan for His creation and how the plan and intent of the Bible is revealed throughout its content. Understanding the Bible holistically will allow us to share its truth with those around us more effectively.
