On September 28, 1975, just three months after meeting for the first time at Burke Elementary School, a newly founded congregation voted to become a church. With eighty-three members signing the charter commitment, Burke Community Church was born. Now as we celebrate our 50th anniversary, the church is alive and growing with over 2,000 in attendance every Sunday, but the numbers are only part of the story. Here are some of the stories and memories as we celebrated the Burke Community Church 50th anniversary by honoring the past, looking to the future, and Celebrating God’s Faithfulness.

Trusting God for a Debt-Free 50th
After seeing God’s faithfulness over the last ten years with the completion of an 18 million dollar building campaign, we are trusting Him to once again be a debt-free church. With less than 2 million dollars remaining on the loan and many outstanding pledges, we are on pace to pay off the loan late 2026. None the less…we are believing God to do so in 2025. Would you be a part of us hitting it out of the park?
