On September 28, 1975, just three months after meeting for the first time at Burke Elementary School, a newly founded congregation voted to become a church. With eighty-three members signing the charter commitment, Burke Community Church was born. Now, as we approach the 50th anniversary, our church is alive and growing with over 2,000 in attendance every Sunday, but the numbers are only part of the story. Join us this September as we commemorate the Burke Community Church 50th anniversary by honoring the past, looking to the future, and Celebrating God’s Faithfulness.

The last 50 years are made up of countless stories of what Jesus has done in and through the people of Burke Community Church. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary we invite you to share your stories, photos, words of gratitude, prayers, and hopes for the future. Whether posted online through Kudoboard, taking the time to share on camera in our video studio, or just making a practice of telling your story with others, we look forward to sharing encouraging stories of God’s hand upon our church family.

Join un in-person or online in the month of September as Pastor Marty takes us through a four-part series: Celebrating God’s Faithfulness. Take a look at examples of God’s faithfulness throughout scripture as well as the last 50 years of Burke Community Church…but it doesn’t stop there because God is not done. Join the celebration as we believe God for his continued faithfulness in the next 50 years!

Trusting God for a Debt-Free 50th
After seeing God’s faithfulness over the last ten years with the completion of an 18 million dollar building campaign, we are trusting Him to once again be a debt-free church. With less than 2 million dollars remaining on the loan and many outstanding pledges, we are on pace to pay off the loan late 2026. None the less…we are believing God to do so in 2025. Would you be a part of us hitting it out of the park?
