The Well Fall Retreat
7th & 8th grade students, join us at The Well Fall Retreat at Watermarks Camp near Charlottesville, VA from September 11-13, 2026. We’ll have a great weekend together making new friends, connecting in small groups, building memories with fun activities, and growing closer to God through messages and quiet times with the Lord. Whether you are new to The Well or a returning student, this is the best way to build connections that will jumpstart your friendships for the whole year. You won’t regret it!
The registration fee of $235 covers all your food, transportation and lodging. We will leave after school on Friday and return on Sunday afternoon (see schedule below). Email [email protected] if you have questions or need scholarship assistance to attend. Registration will open in July. Departure details and a packing list will be emailed in September.
Retreat Theme
Life is awesome. It’s full, exciting, complicated, and, at times, really hard. Every day we’re making decisions, forming relationships, chasing dreams, navigating disappointments, and trying to figure out who we are and where we belong.
But what if two questions ultimately shape everything?
-
- Is Jesus better?
- Can I trust him?
At The Well Fall Retreat, we’ll spend the weekend exploring those questions through Ephesians 1:3-14 and one powerful phrase: In Christ.
Together, we’ll take a fresh look at who Jesus is, who we are, and who Jesus says we are. We’ll discover what it means to be spiritually rich, fully accepted, completely forgiven, and eternally secure.
Whether you’re all in, full of questions, or somewhere in between, our hope is that you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be IN CHRIST—and with the confidence to trust Jesus with every part of your life.
Retreat Speaker
Pastor Greg Triplett
Growing up in California, Greg got his start in ministry as a leader in his church’s middle school ministry while he was in college. That experience opened the door to many other ministry opportunities, including 13 years with Cru, where he worked with college students at UCLA, USC, and Sacramento State.
In 2020, Greg and his family moved to Northern Virginia, where he helped launch the Communications Department at Burke Community Church. Greg loves finding creative ways to help people understand who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. He earned his Master of Divinity from Western Seminary in 2015.
When he’s not at church, Greg enjoys playing golf, working on projects around his house, and spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their three kids—Liv, Harper, and Hudson.
