Serving the needs of our community with quality and affordable care.
About
The Counseling Center at Burke Community Church transforms lives through focused actions that provide immediate relief and long-term solutions leading to a healthy life and having authentic relationships with Jesus and with others.
We accomplish this mission through strong collaboration, integrated services, and complementary care and counseling efforts. In all actions, we strive to model Christ and demonstrate His love to our congregation and local community. We seek to treat people with dignity, provide them hope, and equip and inspire them for healthy life transformation.
In June 2016, our Elder Council sought the Lord’s guidance out of a desire to faithfully respond to the overwhelming blessings He had bestowed upon our church. The elders asked, “What can we do now to prepare for what God has next for Burke Community Church?” God answered by moving on their hearts to commission an effort that would pass God’s blessings deeper into our church and surrounding community.
This answer gave birth to the vision to utilize our expanded facilities and resources to establish a center that would transform lives and impact culture with God’s timeless truth and life-giving gospel. Now, after considerable research and planning, we held our grand opening on Sunday, September 26, 2021 and celebrated the realization this vision as our new Counseling Center!
The Counseling Center is located at Burke Community Church at 9900 Old Keene Mill Road in Burke, Virginia. Map & Directions

Counseling
The Counseling Center at Burke Community Church (BCC) provides biblically centered, psychologically informed professional counseling and related services to foster healthy life and deeper relationships with Christ and each other for persons within BCC and the local community.
We provide comprehensive services to restore and heal emotional, mental, and spiritual health of persons in the community through biblically based counseling that is integrated with effective insights from psychology and social science. Our services empower persons with a healthy understanding of self and equip persons for a deeper relationship with Christ and others.
We understand that time and geography can be barriers to receiving counseling. We are pleased to offer both telehealth and in-person services.
We seek to provide a safe, caring environment that values you and recognizes your inherent significance to the Lord and this world. You are the only unique you, and we want to treasure and celebrate that as we partner with you in a therapeutic relationship to develop the healthy life you desire. We will help you clarify the goals for life change you seek and will support your success in achieving these goals.
