Kenya 2027 Short-Term Mission Trip
Join us on a life-changing adventure!
WHO: This trip is designed for anyone with a Christ-centered heart to serve. No prior experience or language skills required. Our team will work with our partner, Christian Best Camps of Kenya (CBCK).
“While certain skills can certainly be a blessing, we truly believe that the greatest qualification for serving with us is a willing heart that desires to obey Christ’s command to “go” and make disciples. We have seen God use people of every age, background, and profession in remarkable ways. A servant’s heart, a teachable spirit, and a love for Jesus are the greatest gifts a team can bring.” Pastor Erik Simba, Christian Best Camps of Kenya
WHERE: Nairobi, Kenya. Our team will stay at the home of Pastor Erik Simba and his family.
WHY: To spread the gospel to the unreached. To serve alongside the local church. To show the love of Christ. To encourage the staff of CBCK.
Below are some of the ministry opportunities that a BCC team could participate in while serving in Kenya:
- Building and Construction Ministry – Serving at our new Hope and Restoration Village, which is currently under construction and will become a place of healing, discipleship, and restoration for many lives.
- Mentorship and Discipleship – Encouraging pastors, church elders, teachers, ministry workers, and young Christian leaders through biblical teaching, fellowship, and leadership development.
- Counseling and Restoration Ministries – Partnering with our counseling ministry to encourage ministry workers, families, trauma survivors, and community members. This area is especially meaningful for counselors, therapists, and those with a heart for listening and caring.
- School and College Outreach – Sharing the Gospel, mentoring students, leading devotions, sports outreach, life-skills training, and encouraging young people in schools and colleges.
- Widow and Orphan Ministry – Visiting children’s homes, encouraging widows, serving vulnerable families, and sharing Christ’s love through practical acts of compassion.
- Community Outreach – Participating in evangelism, home visits, feeding programs, children’s ministry, sports ministry, worship, and community discipleship.
COST OF TRIP: Team members are expected to fundraise $3,300.00 for the trip. Fundraising tips are available. This price covers all airfare, ground transportation, partial medical & emergency insurance, lodging and meals. A refundable deposit (up to a certain date) of $300 is required after the first team meeting. Funds raised go towards trip expenses. Any funds raised over the required amount go directly to Christian Best Camps Kenya as a donation.
The application deadline is December 17, 2026. For questions, contact the Short-Term Missions Coordinator Caroline Carroll at [email protected].
