If you are aged 18 or older, have interests and skills in relevant areas to each intern description, and are committed to a Christian faith and walk of life, we invite you to apply!

Internships are a 10-week commitment, usually in the summer, beginning mid May to early June and ending late July to August. We structure summer internships around the schedules of most colleges' breaks. We also accommodate internships for other seasons of the year, and can offer practicum credit for some institutions. If you would like to intern in a specific timeframe, please specify when you contact us! 

All internships take place onsite at Burke Community Church in Burke, Virginia.

Internship offerings vary from year to year, but here is an example of internships we offered in 2024:

• Children's Ministry VBX and Theater
• Student Ministry
• College Ministry
• Worship Arts Ministry (Tech)
• Women's Ministry
• Social Media & Marketing
• Other areas of ministry as needs arise

In the spring semester, email a resume and cover letter to [email protected] stating which internship position you are interested in. Intern positions are usually filled by the end of April.
